MISSING BOROUGH MONEY
MAN ARRESTED IN WELLINGTON. Palmerston N., Yesterday. In connection with the recent loss of £220 from the Palmerston North Borough Council offices, the police have arrested a man named Hubert Gurney, in Wellington, and charged him with the theft of the money. Accused is a seaman by occupation and aged 26 t years. He will appear before the Magisrate’s Court in Palmerston North on October 13.
