WEDDING.

BROOKIE—SHAW. The wedding was solemnised at All Saints’ Church, Foxton, on Wednesday, September 29th, of Mavis,' eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs F. T. Shaw, of Foxton, and Noel Frederic, youngest son of Mi'S C. Hart, of Palmerston North. The Rev. W. H. Walton officiated, and Mrs E. J. Jackson presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore cream marocain, and a cream georgette hat, and carried a shower boquet. The bride was attended by Miss Marion Arnold as bridesmaid, who wore a frock of rose beige repp and hat to match, and carried a bouquet of cream and pink flowers. • The bridegroom was attended by Mr lan Ross, of Wanganui, as best' man.

The wedding breakfast was held at the residence of the bride’s parents, Ravensworth Place. Many telegrams of congratulation were received.

The bride’s going-away dress was a powder blue repp, with cape effect, with fawn silk trimmings, and fawn hat to match.

The guests included Mrs C. Hart, Mr and Mrs Stan. Brookie, Mr Vand Brookie, Mr Sid. Shaw, Miss Philips, Mrs J. Newth, Miss Natalie Spring, and Mr and Mrs C. A. Spring.
