FRED THOMSON AT TOWN HALL.

Fred Thomson and his horse, Silver King, never had a picture that offered them a better opportunity both from the standpoint of characterisation and accomplishing of dare-devil stunts than “The Fighting Sap,” the big Wjestem drama at the Town Hall on Friday and Saturday. In this picture Thomson plays the part of a meek appearing young man who lights like a tiger when he feels somebody is trying to put something over on him. The production literally teems with thrills, romance and high class humour. The supporting programme includes a Star comedy, “Hot Heels,” and the latest Pathe Gazette. Usual prices for this fine programme. A big cast of players will be seen in “The Gilded Butterfly,” next Monday’s star feature. Among -the prominent names are Alma Rubens, Bert Lytell, Huntley Gordon, Frank Keenan, and Herbert Rawlinson. The theme is the folly of following the crowd in the game of life. ROYAL PICTURES. On Friday night patrons at the Royal Theatre will witness a particularly fine programme. The star picture is entitled “Confessions of A Queen,” and is full-of- sensational and thrilling scenes. As an extra “Wolves of the North” will be screened. Prices will remain as usual. Pete Morrison and his famous horse, “Lightilin’,”: provide -many a thrill in “Triple _ Action,” Blue Streak-Lariat Production, starring Morrison. The picture will-he seen at the Royal Theatre on-i Saturday night, and it contains an excellent east. Morrison plays the-role of a border ranger who has been unjustly dismissed from the t service. There are many thrilling fights, rides and a daring leap by Morrison from an aeroplane. Centuary comedy : “AFs Troubles.”
