SWIMMING BATHS CARNIVAL.
The usual weekly euchre party held by the Fibre Committee will be held this evening.
The Sports weekly euchre tournament will be held in Perreau’s rooms to-morrow evening.
A dance was; held in the Masonic Hall on Saturday for the Sports Queen candidate, when a pleasant time was spent. *
A shop day was held on Saturday for the Citizens’ Queen candidate. Thanks are due to those who helped to make it a success. The following competitions were drawn: Dinner, Mr McPherson; breakfast, Mrs Griffin; cake, Mr Chaffey; kewpie, MisS L. Chaffey; coal, Mrs Hamer; bowl, Mrs Purcell; ham: Mrs Fuller; socks, Mr Little. A euchre party was held in Perreau’s rooms on Monday night for the Citizens’ Queen candidate. The first and second prizes for ladies were won, by Mrs Pearson and Mrs Smith, and the gents by Mr Ritchie and Mr Williams. “Booby” prizes went lo Mrs Thompson and Mr Carter respectively.
