SOMETHING TO BE PROUD OF”
DOMINION DISPLAY AT
TORONTO
Dunedin, September 21. “Something that New Zealand may well be proud of, ’ was the summing up by Mr J. A. Brown, a prominent business man who has returned from the Toronto Pair. Mr Brown added that Mr Collins, of the Trade and Commerce Department, was to be congratulated upon his fine display.
Unfortunately Mr P. Barr, who had been appointed Commissioner, was laid aside with illness, and so the bulk of the work of organising fell upon Mr Collins but, nevertheless, New Zealand has what was generally considered to be the best exhibit shown at the fail foi many years. Visitors had expressed the opinion that New Zealand s eft’oit was even more effective and tasteful than the display at Wembley.
