Elsewhere in this issue Mrs McGrath notifies that she is now booking orders foil summer frocks. A reminder is given of the Soccer euchre tournament, to be held in the Temporary Town Hall on Thursday night. With this issue is circulated an inset setting forth goods offering at the sale of surplus stocks of hardware and crockery by Watchoru and McNaught Ltd., Palmeist.on N. Mr J. Garde Grimshaw, of Palmerston North, teacher of singing and elocution, proposes teaching in Foxton provided there is sufficient inducement. He will be in attendance at the Masonic' Hall on Saturday next, 25th., from 2 to 4 o’clock to meet prospective pupils. Mr Gnmshaw’s pupils have gained over 30 first prizes at competitions, also three championships and the scholarship given last year (one yeai s free tuition) by the Palmerston N. Competition’s Society.
