MOTOR CAR WITHOUT LIGHTS.

DRIVER. FINED. At the local S.M. Court yesterday, before Mr R. M. Watson, S.M., J. McLean, of Levin, was charged with having left his motor car in Main St. after dark without lights attached thereto. Constable Owen said the charge was laid under the Lights on Vehicles Act and stated that quite recently the Borough Council had issued a warning to motorists that they must not park cars in the streets without lights. Defendant was fined 10/-, with costs 7/-.
