TREA SUPER'S STATEMENT,
The treasurer reported as follows at Monday night’s meeting of the Foxton Borough Council: — During the month of August the sum of £5,620 14s 7d was received and banked as follows: Cemetery Account £l2 7s (id, Drainage Construction Loan Account £2l 8s 4d, Town Hall No. 2 Loan Account £4,900, District Fund Account £686 18sl 9d.
The ledger balances at the 31st. August were as follows: —Accounts at debit totalled £7BB His 4d and were made up asv follows: —Imprest cash £lO, gas works £277 2s sd, waterworks £4.39 19s Id, Town Hall pictures £6l 14s lOd.
The accounts at credit were: — Cemetery £133 7s lid, drainage construction loan £245 16s 6d, general £538 10s 3d, hospital and charitable aid £6O 12s 2d, interest £940 15s 4d, library £l3O 19 7d, reserves £lOl 19s 3d, roads and streets 1 No. 3. £4,308 18s sd, Town Hall £147 19s 9d, Town Hall No. 2 £5,689 14s 7d.
