SWIMMING BATHS CARNIVAL
This evening the Fibre Committee’s weekly euchre party will be held as usual, in Hamer’s samplerooms.
To-morrow evening, in Perreau’s rooms, the Sports Committee will hold their weekly euchre tournament.
-A shop day was held on Saturday for the Citizen Queen candidate, and thanks are due to those who helped to make it such a financial success. Several competitions were drawn, the following) being the winners: —Sheep, 3!)slbs, Mr. W. Neville; sheep (No.), Mr. Chaff ey; breakfast, Miss E. Francis; dinner, Mr. H. Hornblow; nightdress, Mrs Allcrby; vases, Mjc. Smith (P.O. Hotel); cake, Mrs Jeffrey; chocolates, Mrs Tuna; apples, Mrs Pero,| reau.
A euchre party was held in Perreau’s rooms on Monday night for Citizens’ Queen candidate. A go'od number being present. First prizes were won by Mrs F. Spring and Mr Builderbcck, and second by Miss H. Spring and Mr.- Vertongen, res-' peetively.
