. “FLOWER. OF NIGHT.” San Francisco and vicinity in 185(5—the days when the discovery of gold in (he hills attracted all manner of men from the four corners of the earth —the days when might was right and the quickest on the draw lived the longest. Such is the scene of “Flower of Night,” starring Pola Negri, which screens at the Town Hall to-morrow (Wednesday) evening. The story is adapted to the screen from a novel by Joseph Hergusheimer, and the big cast includes Warner Oland and Joseph Dowling. Supporting pictures are “Cagey Love,” Comedy, “Hague,” scenic and the latest Australasian News. Prices as usual. Those who ask for real dramatic action along with thrills should welcome “The Desert’s Price,” starring Buck Jones, to be screened on Friday night. A William Macleod Raine story on the screen.
