THE LICENSING LAW
BILL BEFORE THE CABINET.
In the House of Representatives this week Air. Y.-H. Potter (Roskill) asked whether the Licensing Amendment Bill would be introduced and proceeded with this session.
The Prime Alinister: The bill is before the Cabinet at the moment and is receiving the very earnest consideration of the Government. The bill is drafted, but it is possible it will be amended before coming to the House. When it does come, I hope it will be acceptable to all sides without discussion. (Laughter). ' Air. D. G. Sullivan (Avon) : You are a bit optimistic.
