FOXTON CHORAL SOCIETY.
At the special general meeting of the above it was decided that the society should go into recess pendan opportunity to resume, the conductor (Mr. H. Osborne) being deputed to call the members together whenever occasion arises.
It was resolved to deposit the Society’s funds in the Post Office Savings Bank in the name of two trustees.
The resignation of Miss Delany as pianiste was received with regret, and she was heartily thanked for her untiring services. Hearty appreciation was also expressed concerning the work of Mr. S. Head, the former secretary. A committee was set up to arrange for a social evening at which all past, present and prospective members are to be invited. It was eventually arranged to hold this on Monday, the 30th inst., each member to be entitled to. invite a
friend. Votes of thanks to the President (Mr. J. Chrystall) for presiding, and to the Presbyterian church managers for the use of the room brought the meeting to a close.
