SWIMMING BATHS CARNIVAL

A crib tournament will be held in Hamer’s sample rooms to-morrow evening, under the auspices of the Citizens’ Queen Committee. The Sports’ Queen shop day will be held on Saturday. A Five Hundred evening was held in Hamer’s Rooms on Monday evening, for the Citizens’ Queen candidate. An enjoyable time was spent. First prize for lady and gent were won by Miss Cuimnerfield and Mr. Spring; “booby” by Miss F. Spring and Mr. Byne respectively-

An “Afternoon” was held in the Plunket room on Wednesday for the Farmers’ Queen candidate, a fair number being present. A sign competition was won by Miss B. Pearson.
