< ANNUAL REPORT. In presenting the eighteenth annual report, the chairman of the Shannon Co-operative Dairy Company, Mr R. W. Taylor, points out that the quantity of butter manufactured for the year was 741* tons. The average monthly payment for suppliers of butter-fat was Is fi.OSd, and provision has been made in the balance-sheet for a further ljd per II). on the season’s output, giving a total average payment for the year of Is 7.58 d per lb. butter-fat. The average grade was 93.72. The store sales for the same period amounted to £28,848, and after deducting all expenses, showed a net profit of £574. The amount to credit of profit and loss account as shown in the balancesheet. is £3,105. Out of this the directors propose to pay the usual (i per cent, dividend and carry the balance forward. At the annual meeting of the company, which will he held on August 14th, Messrs W. James and G. H. Stiles are the retiring directors, and being eligible, will offer themselves for re-election.
