THE AERIAL SURVEY.

The aerial photos taken last Thursday of the Mouto.a district did not come out very well and were re-taken by Capt. Buckley yesterday. All the other photos were satisfactory and were submitted to a meeting of the Palmerston North Borough Council last night, when Mr. F. C. Hay and members of the Ma na wa tu-Oroua River Board waits on that body to place before the Council the Board’s proposed river improvement scheme. Unfavourable weather conditions

prevented the ’plane from going lip on Saturday and Sunday and again to-day. Capt. Buckley will probably remain in Foxton for a day or so yet.
