OBITUARY.
MRS M. A. McEWEN
Airs Alary Ann AlcEwen, relict of the late Mr. Andrew AlcEwen, if Tiakitahuna, died in Palmerston N. yesterday morning, after a long illness, aged 73 years. Airs AlcEwen, who was born at Belmont, Lower llutt; married at the age of 17 and settled at Karere, afterwards going to Tiakitahuna, where she lived until a year or two ago. Her husband predeceased her 18 years ago. Of Airs AfcEwen’s family, the following eleven are siill living:Alessrs. D. AlcEwen (Foxton)_, G. AlcEwen (ShannonH A. AlcEwen (Palmerston North), J. AlcEwen (Feilding), B. AlcEwen (Gippsland, Victoria), Alesdames C. Dennan, (Palmerston North), A. Allan ((Tynong, • Victoria), 11. D. Ale Cully (Bunnytkorpe), J. Morley (Waipawa), B. Alorely, (Tiakitahuna), Mrs D. Healey (Palmerston. North). There are 40 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
