BAND OF HOPE.

The combined Band of Hope meeting was held in the Presbyterian schoolroom last evening. Thirty two children and nine adults were present. Capt. Stone presided and gave a most interesting address on the evils of drink anti also favoured thq audienct! with a recitation. A pianoforte solo by Miss Hughes was greatly appreciated and tho children submitted a lengthy programme of instrumental items, songs and recitations.
