HOCKEY.

W.E.O.G. DEFEAT FOXTON. The local girls journeyed to Palmerston N. yesterday to -try conclusions with West End Old Girls. The game resulted in more or less of a walk-over for the Palmerston team, the final scores being 7 —o. Play was fairly well divided in the first half, though the Foxton combination was chiefly conspicuous by it,s. absence. In the second spell the home team had it all their own way and the tally mounted up quickly.
