BOROUGH LOANS.

ROADS AND STREETS LOAN I-'ULLY SUBSCRIBED. DEBENTURES TO BE ISSUED FOR TOWN HALL LOAN. The Mayor reported at last night’s Council meeting that the Roads and Streets Loan debentures of £SOOO had been fully subscribed. He said that the Council was fortunate in getting such a good response to their appeal for money, most of which had been subscribed locally. An investment that was good enough for outsiders was surely good enough for local citizens, added the Mayor.
