TEE ASHEER’S STATEMENT. The treasurere reported as follows at Monday night’s meeting of the Borough Council:— During the month of June the sum of £6287 5s lid was received and has been banked as follows: Drainage Construction Loan Account £75 4s sd, Cemetery £lO 10s, roads and streets No. 3 Loan £3,200, District Fund £3OOI 11s Gd. The ledger balances at the 30th June were as follows: Accounts at debit totalled £G37 9s 4d and were made up as follows: —lmprest cash £lO, gasworks £303 14s 9d, Waterworks £294 13s 7d, Town Hall Pictures £29 Is Od. The accounts at credit were:— Cemetery £122 17s lid, Contractors’ Dep. £l5O 0s od, Drainage Construction Loan £283/11/9, General £556 2s Id, Hospital and Charitable Aid £52 2s Bd, Interest £925 8s 9d, Reserves £B2 16s sd, Library £143 Is Gd, Roads and Streets No. 3 £3300 0s Od, Town Hall £3814
