£1,000,000 LOTTERY WANTED.
TO BUILD A BRIDGE. Auckland, July 16. The Waitemata Bridge Committee by 14 votes to 6, adopted a resolution urging the promotion of legislation lo empower the committee to raise £1,000,000 by means of a lottery, of which sum £750,000 would be allocated for the erection of a bridge to connect the city with the northern districts.
