LINESMAN ELECTROCUTED.
Invercargill, July 12. John Arthur, r . a married man, aged 54, employed by the Southland Power Board, was engaged on Sunday at Loehiel taking in the slack of a wire, when as the result of a motor-lorry moving suddenly forward, the loose wire flew upwards and came in contact with the overhead wires. Arthur received the full force of the 11,000-volt current and death was practically instantaneous.
