POHANGINA COUNTY COUNCIL ENDORSES FOXTON chamber OF COMMERCE RESOLUTION.
The circular letter from the Foxlon Chamber of Commerce, protesting against the. Otaki Hospital being nm.de a charge on the Palmerston North Hospital Board, was placed before the meeting of the Pohangina County Council on Saturday. It was unanimously decided to support the Foxton body’s view, the chairman (Cr. F. W. Arbon) stating that local bodies desired as far as possible to curb the increasing hospital taxaton.
