INFLUENZA.

FIGURES FOR THE WEEK. For the week ending at noon yesterday a total of 08 cases of influenza, with 15 deaths, were reported to the Health Department from different parts of the Dominion. The cases were distributed as follows: Auckland: 23 cases; 7 deaths. Wellington: 15 caes; 3 deaths. Christchurch: 28 cases; 5 deaths. Dunedin: 2 cases. The Wellington Health District comprises Taranaki, Horowhenua, Wairarapa, East Cape, Central Wellington, Nelson and Marlborough The notifications for the 48 hours which ended at noon yesterday comprised fifteen cases and two deaths. There were four notifications from Auckland, two from Welington and one from Wairarapa-East Cape. At Christchurch there were seven cases and two deaths, while at Dunedin one ease was reported. Auckland, July 12. Five fresh cases of pneumonic influenza were reported to the Auckland office of the Health Department during the week-end. They occurred in the city, Te Kauwhata, Rotorua, Hamilton, and Pukekohe. The case in the last-mentioned place proved fatal. This makes a total of 27 cases and six deaths in the province for the month of July. Several cases are reported 10--cally and one case was removed to ihe hospital this mcning. ,
