“IT IS THE LAW.” “It Is The Law,” the leading attraction screening at the Town Hall on Friday and Saturday is adapted from the novel and stage success of he same title and deals with the particular twist in American law which prevents any man from being tried for the same crime twice. The plot carries the playerS'Hhrough a series of adventurous scenes and dramatic episodes culminating in a thrilling climax in the courtroom. A star comedy “Money Talks,” scenic and latest Fox News are also being shown on Friday and Saturday. Usual Prices. A runaway express engine, freighted with human lives, tearing madly down the mountainside to a frightful doom —and a terrified girl frantically striving to find the eon : trols. That’s just one of the thousand exciting moments in “The Midnight Express,” heading next Monday’s programme. Elaine Hammerstein and William Haines are the leading players. ROYAL PICTURES. Melro-Goldwyn’s “Sinners jn Silk,” promises great entertainment, with a cast including Eleanor Boardman, Conrad Nagel, Jean Ilersholt, Miss du Pont, Virginia Lee Corbin, Jerome Patrick and Edward Connelly. That the promise lias been well kept may be seen this Friday at the Royal theatre. It is an interesting story of a girl loved by a father and his son, though the relationships not known to them at the time. “California Straight Ahead,” tho Universal-Jewel comedy starring Reginald Denny, which comes to the Royal Theatre on Saturday.
