HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT;
The High Commissioner’s cable, dated 20th inst., reads: —Hemp, Manila market, quiet, lmt steady, value “J” grade £4O 10s. Sisal market firm, hut quiet; No. 1 Tanganyika quoted £43. New Zealand market quiet with small demand for early shipment at £36, fair, £3.3 to £33 10s, common sold £3l 10s.
