ROYAL PICTURES. .'Jackie Coogan was a star when lie was six years old; Baby Peggy wore a stellar crown at four years, but the latest star in pictures won his first sucoes when only three. Even then he was full grown and possessed a few scattered whiskers His name is Peter The Great, the new dog star appearing in Chester M. Franklin’s Metro-Goldwyn production, “The Silent Accuser,” which comes to the Royal Theatre on Friday. Extra: “Samson of the Circus.” A|n immense avalanche tearing ruthlessly down the side of a mountain is one of the spectacular scenes in the film version of Temple Bailey’s novel, “Peacock Feathers,” which is coining to the Royal Theatre on Saturday. Cullen Landis and Jacqueline Logan have the leads.
BUCK JONES AT TOWN HALL.
A new Buck Jones will lie seen at the Town Hall on Friday and Saturday when “Durand of the Bad Lands,” the popular stars latest feature is presented. Buck is east in the ideal role of Durand, who, through a chain of unfortunate eireumtances, has been given the name of the most brutal bandit of all times. Exploits of extremely vicious nature are unjustly laid at his door, despite Durand’s endeavour to clear his name. Needless to say the action is fast and many of the scenes thrilling. A special comedy: “Love and Lions,” “Sky Tribe,” (Novelty), Fox News. Usual prices. “Into the Net” will be screened on Monday.
