OTAKI COTTAGE HOSPITAL.

A special committee of the Palmerston Hospital Board conferred with the Minister for Health (Hon. A. J. Young) and the Director General of Health (Dr. Valentine) at Palmerston on Thursday in connection with the Otaki cottage Hospital. The Board expressed its willingness to provide four beds for emergency eases in the cottage hospital and tc provide ah ambulance in conjunction with the Health Department. After a ''full discussion between members and the Minister it was unanimously decided to accept the Minister’s final decision on the matter.
