MOTOR BUS REGULATION DEFIED.

The Auckland Bus Proprietors’ Association has resolved, under legal advice, la challenge the 1110-.lar-lnis regulations as ultra vires mid void, by disobeying them and inviting the Auckland City Council to prosecute (says the Herald). In order to establish a cause of action, the association has resolved that to-day, Juno 10, when the regulations come into force, and I hereafter until further notice, the additional fare of 2d will not he charged.

It is stated the petition circulated in Auckland against the regulations had been signed up to yesterday by 63,000 persons.
