RETURNED SOLDIERS RE-UNION.
The committee set up to go into the question of arranging a reunion of local Returned Soldiers held a meeting last night, presided over by Mr. Yeo. ll was decided that a re-union be held.in the Masonic Hall on Tuesday evening next and that it take the form of a smoke concert.
The secretary has the names of over 130 returned men who are known to be residing in Foxton or (hereabouts and these have all been circularised. As it is impossible to circularise all the returned men in I lie district an invitation will be extended to them to attend the reunion through our advertising columns on Saturday.
