BAND OF HOPE.
A well-at tended meeting of the combined Band of Hope was held in the Salvation Army Hall last night, presided over by Captain Stone. A very acceptable programme of songs and recitations were given by the members. Mrs McDonald gave an interesting address on the physiological evils of alcohol, assisted hv charts.
The meetings are held on the last Friday in each month and a cordial invitation is extended to all children. The next meeting will be held in the Methodist schoolroom.
