At the invitation of the Mayor, the Borough Councillors, and Council employees and several members of the band, attended the morning service at the local Presbyterian Church on Sunday. The Rev. F. McDonald preached on the duties of citizenship basing his address on the text, Eccles, IX, 14-15. The preacher’s keynote has godliness as the basis of good citizenship and civic progress.
