PRESENTATION TO MR. AND MRS E. HEALEY.

+ A presentation was made to Air. and Mrs E. llealey by the Mayor (Mr. M. E. Perroau) on behalf of the citizens, at the Council Chambers this afternoon.. The presentation consisted of a liqueur stand and a lady’s bag-. A full report of the proceedings will appear in our next issue. Mr. E. Healey, who has been in business as a chemist in Eoxton for (lie past 23 years, recently converted his proprietary “Varox” treatment into a limited company which will necessitate his removal to Wellington from which centre he will manage the concern. Mr. Healey has disposed of his chemist business to Mr. I. Corn.

During their residence in Eoxton, Mr. and Mrs Healey have taken a keen interest in all local institutions and their departure will he a distinct loss to the town.
