FOXTON HARBOUR BOARD.
* ■ AIOTHLY AIEETING. The usual monthly meeting of the Foxton Harbour Board was held in the Board’s office this afternoon, presided over by the chairman (Air. ,J. Linklater, AI.P.). Also present were Alessrs \Y. E. Barber, J. Chrystall, R. AlcAlurray, J. A. Nash, E. R. B. Holben and Alortensen. Alessrs Ilopwood and Co. Ltd., of Palmerston North, wrote staling that they were arranging for another shipment of cement through the port, of Foxton at an early date. The Railway Department wrote granting the Board permission to lake up the railway line in front of the old West Coast shed in order to facilitate the proposed sheath piling of the wharf. Two mortgages were sanctioned in respect to beach sections. Business proceeding.
