SUDDEN DEATH.
OROUA DOWNS RESIDENT. Te death occurred suddenly at Oroua Downs this morning of Mrs Martha Thow, at the age of 68 years. The late Mrs Thow had been failing in health for some time and recently spent three months in Wellington and Marton for the good of her health, returning to her home at Oroua Downs only a month ago. Since that time, however, deceased’s health had shown no improvement. Her husband arose at 5 a.m. this morning when deceased was sleeping. A short while after a daughter-in-law went into the room and discovered that Mrs Thow was dead. A coronial inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the death are being held this afternoon before Mr. Brown, coroner, of Levin. The late Mrs Thow leaves a husband and married son, residing at home, and daughter to mourn theii loss. The late Mrs Thow had only been a resident of the Oroua district for the past three years, her husband having been engaged in farming pursuits in that district,
