MANAWATU COUNTY.
ELECTION NOMINATIONS
Nominations for the following ridings have been received in connection with the Manawatu County Council elections: —Sarnlon, H. J. Fagan (sitting member); W'aitohi, W. E. Pearce (new member); Rougotea, 11. 11. Hunt (sitting member) ; Carnarvon, J. F. McKelvie (sitting member) ; Awaliou, A\. E. Barber (sitting member). There will be an election for the Kawn Kawn riding, the nominations received being' those of J. Boyce a,nd 11. 11. C. Simmons.
Mr. W. E. Barber has been reelected as the county’s representative on the Horowlieiiua Electric Power Board and Foxton Harbour Board.
