MANAWATU RACING CLUB. SECOND DAY’S RESULTS. The Manawatu Racing Club concluded its autumn meeting of 1926 at Awapuni, on Thursday in fine weather. There was a good attendance and speculation Avas brisk as is proved by the fact that the increase for the meeting is £9,775. Thursday’s investments totalled £30,190, and the aggregate for the meeting was £64,119. The ■track was in good order though very hard. Kairanga Hurdles Handicap. Comedy Prince 1, Koauau 2, Eonmark 3. Won by two lengths, with half a length between second and third. Time, 3.13. Lockwood Handicap. —Bonideer 1. Dobbin 2, Minstrel Boy 3. Won by a length and a-half, a head separating second and third. Time, 1.14 2-5.
Tamatete Cup Handicap.—Degage 1, Hipo 2, Tresham 3. Won by a length, three-quarters of a length separating second and third. Time, 2.5 1-5. Stonyhurst Handicap. —Polyphemus I," Star Area 2, Euphonium 3. Won by a neck, a length separating second and third. Time, 1.27 1-5. Manawatu Stakes. —Kiosk 1, Tukia 2, Seatown 3. Won by a length each way. Time, 1.13 2-5. Cloverlea Nursery Handicap.— Elthein 1, Magna,Charta 2, Hyuanna 3. Won by half a length, with one length separating second and third. Time, 1.1 2-5.
Borough Handicap.—Merry Jest 1, Civility 2, Standard 3. Won by a nose, with third horse two lengths away. Time, 1.13 2-5. Adderstone Handicap.—Phantasy 1, Kilmiss 2, Anklet 3. Won by half a length each way. Time, 1.48 1-5.
