Down lambs, 28/42’s, IOJd per lb; best North Island 28/42’s, 10d per lb; ordinary North Island 28/42’s, 9;]d per lb; second quality lamb 28/42’s, 9;}d per lb. best North Island wether sheep 48/G4’s, G}d per lb; best North Island wether sheep 04/72’s, sld per lb.; ordinary North Island wether sheep 48/64’s 6d per lb; North Island ewes 48/64’s, 4}d per lb; North Island ewes G4/72’s, 4d per lb; New Zealand prime ox beef 160/220’s, 33d per lb. The lamb market is steady. The prices for mutton are weak and the demand poor.
