BUCK JUNES AS “LAZYBONES.’

Admirers of the popular Charles (Buck) 'Jones are unanimous in acclaiming “Lazybones” his first 8-reel special screen at the Town Hall temporary pictures to-night, as a picture “out on its own.” This tale of a young village idler with a lot of latent good points and a heap of courage provides picturegoers with entertainment that one minute gives a thrill and the next a hearty laugh, Jones is supported by a great east which includes such popular artists as Madge Bellamy, Jane Novak and Zazu Pitts. In addition to the big feature to-night’s programme includes special monkey comedy “So This is Art,” and the latest Pox News.

The power of a small town news paper in connection with local politics is amusingly dealt with in Monday night’s picture “A Front Page Story” which tells of an editor’s attempt to get “something on” a clever old Town Mayor. Edith Huberts, Edward Horton, and Buddy Messenger are the featured players. "Horrible Hollywood” a cartoon and the latest Pathe Gazette are also included in Monday’s programme. ROYAL PICTURES. “The White Outlaw,” a Universal Blue Streak Western, showing tonight tit the Royal theatre, contains some of the most beautiful scenery and the most spectacular stampede of wild horses. Also Centuary Comedy ‘Stranded.”

George Fitzmaurice, noted motion picture director, has turned to the bottom of the sea for inspiration in the designing of novel backgrounds for the action in his latest Goldwyn-First National picture, “A Thief in Paradise,” at the Royal theatre Monday. An undersea garden serves as the background for an exotic South Sea dance by Ailecn Pringle, who shares featured honours with Doris Kenyon and Ronald Column.

Uu Wednesday and Thursday will he screened “The Phantom of the Opera.” Book your seats.
