MOTOR-BUS ON FIRE.

PASSENGERS ESCAPE THROUGH WINDOW.

Auckland, April 7.

Owing to a leak in the benzine tank, F. H. Gallagher’s motor-bus, engaged in a suburban service, caught lire late to-night. The bus was full of passengers, who all got out safely, two through a window of the bus. The flames almost destroyed the bus, and only died out when the benzine all burned away. The fire brigade took control of the fire, which attracted a large crowd.
