WEDDING.
McKENNA—O’LEARY.
A quiet wedding of considerable local interest was solemnised in St. Mary’s Church on Tuesday, when Miss Nance O’Leary, fifth daughter of Mr. and Mrs H. J. O’Leary, of Masterton, was united in the holy bonds of matrimony by the Rev. Father McDermott to John McKenna, of Foxton. The bride was prettily attired in a grey beaded georgette frock with hat to match. She was attended by Miss Ella O’Leary, (sister of the bride) as bridesmaid,, who was charmingly attired in frock of mauve crepe de ehene with an overdress of ecru lace. Mr. D. McKenna, brother of the bridegroom, officiated as best-man. After the ceremony a reception was held, at which the usual toasts were honoured and felicitious speeches made. Later in the afternoon the happy couple left for the north where the honeymoon is to be spent. After the honeymoon Mr. and Mi’s McKenna will take up their, residence in Foxton.
