PRISONERS AT LARGE.
Another prisoner, the second in less than a fortnight, escaped from the Waikune prison shortly after 4 o’clock yesterday afternoon. On this occasion the escapee was John Johnson, alias Park, alias Oakney, alias Hazlctt, who was, undergoing a sentence of two years for breaking and entering. Tin. in height, has a medium-sized nose, fair complexio, brown hair, and hazel eyes. Wilfred Ronald Wildley, aged 30, an ex-naval man who escaped on Tuesday, March 16, from Waikune prison, where lie was undergoing a three years’ sentence for forgery, has not since been heard of. He answers to the following description: Clean shaven, about sft. Tin. in height, has brown hair, hazel eyes, with a dragon and swallow tattooed upon his left arm.
