POSTAL ARRANGEMENTS.

EASTER HOLIDAYS,

The following hours of attendance and mail arrangements will be observed at the local Post Office during Easter:— Thursday, Ist April: —A delivery of correspondence (registered as well as ordinary) will be made over the counter between 7 and 8 p.m. Friday, 2nd April, (Good Friday) :—Post Office, closed all day; telegraph office, closed all day; telephone exchange, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., and 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Saturday, 3rd April.—All branches open as usual, with the exception that a delivery of correspondence (registered as well as ordinary) will be made over the public counter between 7 and 8 p.m. Sunday, 4th April:—Post office, closed all day; telegraph office closed all day; telephone exchange, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Monday, sth April (Easter Monday) :—Post Office, closed all day; telegraph office, closed all day; telephone exchange, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mails: Mails will he closed for AVellington, Palmerston North and Taranaki at 6.30

There will be no delivery of correspondence by the postman on Good Friday or Easter Monday.
