GARDEN PARTY

A most enjoyable garden party was held at the Anglican vicarage yesterday afternoon in ideal weather. The hostesses were Mrs Walton and Miss Williams. The “surprise packets'’ caused considerable amusement. .Much interest was evinced in the competitions which were won by Mrs Healey and Miss King. The produce, fruit and flower stall was presided over by Mrs W. Spring and the cake stall by Mrs Lee. The afternoon was a great success both from a social and financial point of view.-We are asked to thank all who contributed to the success of the gathering.
