For some time pasl the local tennis club have been hampered for lack of space. The club recently effected a transfer to their property in Ravensworth Place for a larger area at the corner of the Avenue and Johnston Street. This section will provide double the accommodation for players, besides the laying down of a croquet lawn if required. The section is well sheltered and can be converted into a beauty spot. The cluh intends to raise funds by a series of public efforts and work is now in progress to have the courts ready for players at the beginnig of next season.
