Messrs. Levin & Co., Ltd., have received the followiug cable from their London Agents, dated 9th March, 1926: “The auctions opened here to-day with a large attendance of Home and Continental buyers. Good competition from Bradford and the Continent. Compared with the closing rales of last sales, we quote: — Greasy Merino, best, Id per lb. dearer; greasy merino, average, Id per lb. dearer; halfbreds and crossbreds, unchanged; fine slipes, Id per lb. cheaper; coarse slipes, unchanged; scoured crossbreds, id to Id per lb. cheaper; scoured merino, Id per lb cheaper.
