TANGIMOANA SEASIDE RESORT.

ROADS VESTED IN MANAWATU COUNTY.

At Tuesday’s meeting of the Manawatu County Council, a communication was received from the Public Works Department foi’warding order-in-council declaring various roads and portions of roads in the Manawatu County to be county roads. The roads and streets affected are Koura street, Punga street, • West Square, Kina street and River Bank street, within the township of Tang’imoana. WHAT ABOUT MANAWATU SEASIDE? In view of the above the Foxton Harbour Board should endeavour to have the road giving access to what is known as the sanatorium, leading off from the present main road similarly dedicated. As previously’pointed out the completion of this road, would provide safe access to the seaside for the public, and would complete the present road as a permanent highway.
