The scores in connection with the tliiity-minutes tournament held on the green on Wednesday are as follows :

Mrs Baxter, Manawatu Croquet Association’s official handicapper, was present at the Levin courts on Tuesday. The following Foxton players have had their handicaps minded: —Mrs Woods, from 6 to 5: Mrs Owen from 61 to 6; Mrs Pearson, from 7 to 64; Mrs Moore from S to 7; Mrs Parkes from 81 to 7; Miss Wanklyn, from 12 to 9.

Levin ladies have demonstrated their prowess in croquet during the last few weeks in no uncertain fashion (says the Chronicle). Interclub tournaments are still in progress, the latest match being that; between Levin and Otaki, the latter succeeding in winning one match only, that of the singles between Mrs Evans (Otaki) with a 5 handicap and a score of 21. The other scores were, as appended, handicaps being shown in parenthesis, Levin players being mentioned first :—Singles: Mrs Hall (8) 26 v. Mrs Smith (8) 19. Doubles: Mrs Nicholson (8) and Mrs Plaster (10) 26 v. Mrs Oliver (9) and ALrs Wyatt (12) 23. Airs Walker (11) and Airs Sliennan (11) 26 v. Eddie (11. and Airs Gillespie (12) 15.
