VICE-REGAL VISIT TO PALMERSTON.
The Governor-General and Lady Fergusson will visit Palmerston N. on the 29th and 30th insts. On the 29th he will visit the Old People’s Home and Hospital; 1 p.m., Rotary Club Lunch; 3 p.m., civic welcome in Square gardens, inspection of Boy Scouts and Girl Guides; evening, attend Masonic gathering. Tuesday, March 30.: Visit High Schools and primary schools; 12.30 a.m., lunch with Citizens’ Luncheon Club while Her Excellency will lunch with the wives of Rotarians; 3 p.m., opening of Girls’ Flock House: evening, dine (at officers’ Club and visit to Soldiers’ Club.
