HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.
The High Commissioner’s cable, dated the 6th inst., reads: Hemp, Manila slow and dull. .“J” grade, No. 2, March-May shipments, sold up to £42 10s, but sellers, at the close £42. Tendency easier. Sisal quiet with Kenya No. 1 March-May shipments value £44 10s no business reported. New Zealand value easier all round, high points MarchMay shipments quoted £3B 10s Od, fair £36.
